Mark Lewis Endorsed by Joe Flynn

The primary ballots for June 4th are being mailed out next week. In the race for House District 63, there are two names on the Republican ballot. My name and the name of Joe Flynn. Joe is a local businessman, father, husband, grandfather and USMC veteran. Joe and I have gotten to know each other during the last few months, and I was extremely honored that he decided to endorse me for our race.

We sent out a press release yesterday, and I’d like to share it below:

PRESS RELEASE:

Joe Flynn Endorses Mark Lewis in HD 63 Republican Primary. Flynn had filed to run, but will step aside to support Lewis

BOZEMAN, Mont. – At a recent the Gallatin County Federation of Republican Women luncheon, candidate Joe Flynn offered his endorsement to Mark Lewis for the Republican primary for House District 63. Flynn filed for the seat in March, but has decided to put his support behind Lewis.

“I am fully confident that Mark Lewis will make an excellent representative for House District 63, and he has my full and total endorsement,” said Flynn, who previously mounted a strong campaign for Gallatin County Commission in 2022. “While my name will remain on the primary ballot because it is too late to withdraw, I am asking all of my supporters to vote for Mark Lewis on June 4th. Let’s win together and turn Bozeman red!”

Lewis thanked Flynn for the endorsement, saying: “Joe Flynn is a voice of reason for Gallatin County, and I’m thrilled to have his endorsement. I’m running for House District 63 for the same reason Joe was: I care about the future of our community, and I want to make a positive difference. Joe’s support will go a long way in helping me get my message of lower taxes, lower spending, and a commonsense, solutions-oriented approach to legislating to our neighbors.”

Mark Lewis is a husband, father, small business owner, and resident of Middle Creek Parklands. His family are members of Holy Rosary Parish. Lewis has spent a career in business working at the highest levels of sports administration, from forming revenue-generating partnerships for the NCAA to helping make the Salt Lake Olympics a success for the western United States. Throughout his work, he has learned how to bring people together, tackle large tasks, and make dollars stretch farther. He is running for the Legislature to be a part of solving complex challenges based on key skills developed throughout his career.
